Mirco Arena is an Italian fashion designer from Florence. In 2016 he was selected among the best students and shown his collection “DETHRONED LOVE” at the Polimoda fashion show in Palazzo Strozzi during Pitti Uomo, winning the BEST COLLECTION 2016 prize. During his academic path, he also worked for Falco Pellami S.P.A, realizing their stand for Linea Pelle fair in Milan and the Winter 2017 color chart. In 2017, during his graduation year, he was selected for the final Polimoda fashion show with his collection “DEALT WITH DIVINITY”. For him, the most important aspect is to shock the audience creating elaborated pieces. The goal is to bring the public in his personal dimension, and despite the theatricality of the pieces, the attention to details is the most relevant element, leaving nothing to the chance. He is currently working as Junior Fashion Designer at BYBLOS SRL, where he takes care of trend forecasting, fittings, collections development, color palettes and fashion sketches.
