DADSIT’S MASCOTTE TAKES LIFE
During a frozen period of break due to the worldwide sanitary emergency, to keep staying creative and productive might not be the easiest thing. Editorials usually require a lot of people connections and effort, a whole team able to work and brainstorm together. Nowadays technology can be not just a tool but also a vehicle for creative minds, breaking every physical boundary, making us able to create something innovative and disruptive. So the Dadsit team decided to brainstorm at his finest, experimenting digital solutions together with the creative 3D artist duo from Berlin: David Babka & Marek Bulíř, from Selam X.

Through skype calls and emails Dadsit’s team managed to art direct a digital editorial that sees as a protagonist its mascotte. Referencing to the Frankestein character, they contextualized the puppet as an uncanny creature taking life from the human being experimentations.
This entity incarnates Dadsit’s values and resources, to speak out loud for all the artists and emerging creatives that need to be supported in order to
emerge.
The setting is contaminated with scientific elements and technological sounds, almost recalling some kind of incubator, covering the role of the designer inside the supporting platform.

The result is an innovative project able to release a peculiar and yet
uncomfortable feeling in the audience.
